Two

On July 11, 2013, our little Slurpee turned 2.  Here's a little bit about our 2 year old:
*Candy sleeps great through the night.  She sleeps from 7 pm to 7 am and goes to bed so easily.  She moved to a big girl bed in the middle of May.  She looks so tiny in that twin bed, I love it.  She takes one nap every day, usually for an hour and a half.  She likes to sneak in a little one-on-one time with Mommy since her sisters usually have quiet time for 2 hours.  She'll come downstairs with me, I'll get her a sippy of warm milk (hot meewk as she says), and we'll rock and read books.
*She has such a big personality.  I tell people that in Candy's mind, she's pretty sure she's about 5 years old.  She attempts EVERYTHING her sisters do and gets so frustrated when things are harder for her because she's smaller.  She makes the funniest faces and loves to make people smile.  She mimics any sound that she hears and it makes me laugh to hear her mimic our older girls' phrases, right down to their exasperated sighs.  She is our most social girl by far.  She walks smiling into nursery every Sunday and plays happily the whole time, not phased by the crying kiddos around her.
*She talks up a storm.  If she is awake, I can guarantee that she's talking, singing, or yelling.  Oh man, can she yell.  She loves to call everyone for dinner time, prayer time, get-in-the-car-to-leave time, anytime really.  She loves her Daddy and is so happy when he comes home at the end of the workday.  We love our Candy-girl!

We had extra helpers around starting on Candy's birthday.  Hailey (10), Zach (8), and Chloe (5) came to stay for a few days while Shad and Amy were out of town.

We had a few friends over to celebrate after dinner.  The Mellands and the Tracys came to play and have cupcakes with us.
