Paint!

I've been painting our kitchen in my head for quite sometime.  I've had paint samples out on the counter for months.  And finally, I decided to just go for it and started taping on Sep. 28 and painting on Sep. 29.  My good friend Ashley came over for some painting during naptime on Sep. 30 and we made great progress.
I am so happy with the turnout!  It is a bright green and just feels happy.  And for my first venture into painting, it went pretty well.

Blessing Dress Photoshoot

On Sep. 27 while Megan was at joy school, I grabbed Candace and did a little photoshoot. They turned out so cute. What a doll baby.

Little Girls...

September passed quickly (but I say that every month these days).  I started Invisalign at my brother Shad's office on Sep. 21--OUCH! But I'm happy with the progress. All three kids slept through the night for the first time on Sep. 22--AH-mazing! Candace started doing so well with sleeping that she moved upstairs to her very own room on Sep. 26!

2 Months...

At nearly 2 months old, Candace slept through the night for the first time (10 pm to 6 am on Sep. 2)!  She got to watch her first BYU football game that day as well. She is waking up a little more and getting good at holding up her head.  Her smiles are rare but adorable when she does share them!  Despite spitting up like CRAZY, she is very content and happy almost all of the time.

First time in the bumbo!   Sep. 3

Her first Labor Day was a busy one.  We spent the morning with friends at their home chatting and playing games (our backup plan after some wind spoiled our beach day) and the afternoon at Grandpa's.

Dan took a little day trip to Austin with my brothers and my Dad on Sep. 10 to watch BYU play UT.  Despite the poor outcome, they had a blast. And Carrie and I tried out some delicious new salsa while they were gone.

Candace's Stats at 2 months (Sep. 12):  Length=22.5 inches (51%)/Weight=11 lbs 5 oz (49%)

Brooke had her 2 year checkup on the same day:  Height=34.8 inches (61%) /Weight=30 lbs (80%)

10 years since 9/11/01.  I really didn't do much to commemorate the day other than go to church and count my blessings--starting with those three girls pictured above.
