The rest of the weekend...

On Black Friday, we avoided the crowds as best as we could. We had a leisurely morning and decided to head to the Houston Museum of Natural Science and have a picnic at Hermann Park (my favorite Houston park, right by the museum). Thankfully Henry was feeling better and no one else got sick! We loved the Museum and stayed as long as the kids let us (but not quite as long as the adults would have liked!). Stephanie and I especially had fun admiring all of the beautiful jewelry in the hall of gems.

After Nathan and Stephanie left, Aunt Carrie came to take Megan on her birthday date--they went to Chick-Fil-A and then to see The Muppets movie.  Megan felt so grown up and special! (Nov. 26)
